Individual pelvic health sessions can be a fantastic way to crystallize your understanding of how to ignite and balance this sacred energy center. Perhaps you want to cultivate your intuition and somatic “knowing,” tap into your creativity to start a business or realize an artistic vision, optimize your fertility, create better intimacy with your partner, address pelvic dysfunction/discomfort, or prepare for pregnancy and childbirth. You will be expertly guided through targeted, conscious pelvic floor exercises and leave the session with a clearer understanding of the pelvic anatomy. We will discuss your specific concerns and develop a personalized plan to reach your goals.
NOTE: We will discuss safe exercises for various conditions such as prolapse or incontinence, but these sessions are not intended to diagnose or treat specific pathologies. Instead we look beyond the physical symptoms and examine the problem holistically. What other factors could be influencing this imbalance and how can we support the body in its natural healing capacity? This potential for healing is a gift that is our birthright, and sometimes in order to heal bladder issues, for example, we need to have a long overdue conversation in addition to a practice of targeted, conscious pelvic floor exercises.

In yoga, this energy center (chakra) is called “swadisthana” - “the dwelling place of the self.” This area of our physical and energetic bodies holds incredible potential for creativity, vitality, healing, and intuition. When healthy, it can, in fact, gestate and birth a more authentic version of ourselves. Yet many women instead experience numbness, pain, and dis-ease in the pelvis. How can we ignite and balance this sacred energy center?
In this workshop you will:
be invited to reimagine the modern yoga practice, learning to channel energy downwards to your sacred lower energy centers for healthy fertility, pregnancy, birth, creativity, intimacy, digestion, spinal alignment, and more
gain a better understanding of pelvic anatomy, explore common misconceptions about pelvic floor exercises, and learn nuanced pelvic practices
practice ancient and modern techniques to awaken, balance, and harness the creative and healing power residing in the pelvis
learn a clear, step-by-step system for jumpstarting pelvic healing and leave with manageable action items
consider and remap personal, community, and institutional systems of support for female pelvic health.
